Very important is a road loss of third ranked LatvianValmiera Glass (5-3) against seventh ranked Croatian Alkar (3-5) on Wednesday night. Visiting Valmiera Glass were defeated by Alkar in Sinj 104-94 . Alkar dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Valmiera Glass ' 36. Alkar looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Tray Hollowell (190-1998, college: Morehead St., agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 8 assists and center Mario Kresic (203-2002) who added 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Alkar's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Verners Kohs (203-1997) responded with 28 points and 5 rebounds and Bosnian center Omar Pajic (205-1999, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Alkar moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Valmiera Glass keep the third position with three games lost.
